Lemmings

Leaping off cliffs is an 
Exodus of foolish creatures that
Multiplied too many and gnawed
Most of their pastures barren. They're plunging
Into the treacherous waters of the 
Norwegian sea, blindly hoping that it'll
Get them to newer, greener lands.
Some are lucky but they'll repeat the mistake.
