The Thursday Think Tank # 72 - Writer's Block

By the iron law of nature
all voids shall be filled.

By the iron law of nature
no crisis lasts long.

So, when writer's block will strike
I shall not fear, for

there is no dearth of ideas;
they always come in times when
they are needed most.

  1. Yes, Madhumakhi, ideas will always come again. We can't be too worried if they don't come for a day or two. Forcing them doesn't work. But then again I am telling everyone I believe in "bum glue," sitting down and staying there until one has written something. It works for me oftentimes. I will not let myself escape.

  6. @All: thank you for commenting.
    @Mary: Bum-glue is good for some people, not good for some others like me. It often happens with me that when i force the idea out it rebels.
