The Thursday Think Tank - #34 I Do Bequeath..

My dear child,
I would like to
bequeath to you
 fiery passion
that i never gave wings
as a child,
in the hope that
you would give it
the wings to fly
and soar high
in the sky.

Do what
you want
out of the
passion
i want to
give you.
But just
give it wings
and don't
let it die
within you.

  1. I am honored that you would think me desirable that you copy me. You are a most righteous poet on your own.

  2. I haven't copied you. It's just that our poems are similar by coincidence.

  3. It's like freedom and framework at the same time.

  4. madhumakhi, I am sorry, I think I may have said the above unclearly...I don't think you copied me. You wrote your own heartfelt original poem. We had been on the same "wavelength" as to leaving our children the wish that they live life passionately. I like what Ponnies said about your poem.
